Founder and head coach at Frogtown Jiu-Jitsu; longtime Marcelo Garcia Academy instructor.

Paul Schreiner began training in the late 1990s in Santa Cruz under Claudio Franca and Garth Taylor, then spent years competing and coaching in Brazil before returning to the US. He taught at Marcelo Garcia Academy in New York City for fourteen years, helping produce multiple world-class champions and laying the foundation for the brown-belt "dream team." Before that he coached at American Kickboxing Academy, co-founded Kaijin MMA, and built a Jiu-Jitsu program for Apple in Cupertino. Schreiner is known for a clear, concept-driven teaching style and a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt awarded by Claudio Franca.
